Exactly! Thanks for sharing that much needed information, Sue. Unfortunately, most pet owners don't know this.

Total nonesense.

I've had Goldens for 20 years. I never shaved them, constantly brushed them, and yet they chewed themselves so badly they deveoped infections and were put on steroid type medication that I feel is very harmful.
I had Mikey shaved last year, and there is no more chewing of his body by him to the point of infection.
I walk him several times a day in the hot Fl. sun and he shows no sign of sunburn.
He is healthy and very comfortable and I will continue getting him shaved.

Transformer blew up here today. 108 degrees and no electricity for eight hours....so far.....for 80,000 homes/businesses. We have power at the house but the office is still out. Everyone went home at 3PM.

A huge dust storm is hitting. Saying it's the biggest one in decades. No flights in or out of PHX right now. Here is a link to the news coverage with a video.

And those of you that have seen shots of the mountains from our backyard...here is what we are seeing now.

I will take the chance and deal with a possible hurricane here in Florida.
it doesn't hit 118 or freeze so there's no blizzard or earthquakes that pop up.
That sand storm is just crazy! I have seen videos of them from the mid east.
