Calculate deflection with sistering

If I have "sistered" joist, full span. How do I use the deflecto tool? Should I just add the width of both joists and use it as the effective width?

Welcome, Rod.

If the two joists are the same size, just add the thickness and use that in the calculation.

If not the same size, do the calculation for each size and add the results.
