Can someone please translate what I think is an expiration date?

I couldn’t figure how to do a photo, so....
This is on a bag of poly blend grout in color 380 for haystack.

Thank you. If it is expired, can you make a small amount to see if it hardens correctly and might be OK? This would be for repairing a line about 9” long.

Hi Mary Ann – Those codes can be hard to interpret. That looks like a batch number but that’s purely a guess. I’d recommend you call the manufacturer product support line. They will be able to give you better information on expiration date codes.

I believe the 20 on the left is the year. I can't remember what the rest is other than the 380 on the right is the color.

Someone here will hopefully remember how to read the code. We have it here somewhere, I looked for it and couldn't find it.

I believe Custom uses the Julien system (sorta), so the 20 is the year as Davy suggests and the 259 is the number of days in that year 'till the product was bagged. Without counting the actual days, I'd say it was sometime in August of 2020. Still well within it's shelf life.

My opinion; worth price charged.
