Picnic Table (tiled, of course)

Anybody got any ideas on putting together a patio/picnic table with tile that looks good? I think I can do this but would like some more input. Has anybody around here done this? We live in the wet and humid, so the base would probably be heavy, maybe even concrete of some sort. Don't worry about it to heavy to move around the yard, my grill's a 3-person job but it sure works good Spit it out, if it's a bad idea, let me know now.

Welcome, Nelson.

Might type table into the Advanced Search feature, ask for Titles and get a few ideas. Or not.

When you decide what you wanna do, we've got folks here can help you with it.

I'd go with reinforced concrete if weight wasn't an issue. Have you looked as pre-cast concrete tables and benches? One could be modified to suit, then tiled over.
