here's the formula if you want to do it the hard way

http://www.johnbridge.com/vbulletin/...ead.php?t=4991

Quote:
1/2 gal. white vinegar
1/2 gal. hydrogen peroxide-common peroxide available from your drugstore
1 cup boric acid
keep closed tightly
mix well - use in a spray bottle on a dry surface.

Yes, wrong, bleach only makes matters worse. Concrobium kills the mold.

I remember reading a couple of months ago, that bleach and water were not effective killers of mold, but actually fed it.
of course I can't seem to find that now, so If anyone can remember what the heck I'm talking about....
I have actually used the stuff Brian recommended before, just didn't remember until the bottle was in my hands

That's crazy. I can believe it, I'm no mold expert.

Just can't believe all the bleach I've sprayed on mold over the years while doing sub work on these insurance jobs. Just did it the other day on moldy sheathing from a roof leak...

Oh well, we let it dry out before covering it up again which is probably pretty big.

Soap and hot water works with a nylon brush, don't forget the gloves the eye protection.

I have already scrubbed the affected area, I just want to make sure it isn't gonna grow once I close up the walls.

scrubbing with soap & hot water wont kill the mold and even
bleach only makes it go away temporarily.

This is a good recipe

I've used this. It works very well. It's from Flatfloor via the Liberry.

Bleach is effective on a hard, non-porous surface.

Shows how much attention I pay, huh?

The redhead accuses me of being a little redundant, too.

Brian, have you used the Concrobium? Looks interesting.
