Pro install needed - New London, CT area

Basic 60x30 tub/shower rebuild. 40 yr old sheetrock is done being a tile backer - grout popping, tiles flexing, and water running down to the basement framing from the usual spots. Should be a more or less rudimentary tearout and rebuild job, leaving the existing cast/enamel tub which they don't care to replace if possible.

Tile runs to the ceiling, both end walls return nicely, and the owners (my parents) don't particularly care a whole lot about exactly matching the existing off-white, brown-speckled 4x4 ceramic that comprises a ~4' high wainscot around the rest of the room.

1st floor bath, conveniently only about 10 feet to the front door of the house.

Need to get them something better than the BathFitter "solution" they're threatening to invoke! Anyone in the southeast-CT / southern-RI area?

Thanks for your help...

Actually, I DO know someone in that area. He's not a member here, but he's good. I'd be willing to personally vouch for him. I'm going to shoot him an email and see if he'd be interested in taking a look. If not, my sister's a commercial tile project manager, and she lives in Branford. I'd bet she just might know someone, if my buddy's too busy.

Hey Ed-- just to let you know-- I heard back from the contractor I know-- he's out in Colorado right now due to a death in the family, and I guess he'll be out there for a while helping out with the estate and so forth. I'll get in touch with my sister and see if she can give me a name.
