General Contractor looking for tile guy/gal

I'm new to this site and its been very informative. I was wondering if anyone on here lives in the Louisville, KY area. Our tile guy does decent work, but I'm concerned with callbacks. After reading some of the advice on here I'm worried he isn't taking all the neccesary steps to produce a quality, long lasting job.

If I can't find someone on this site, where do you recommend I look. I need someone who can work in older homes, what kind of questions should I be asking these guys? And how can I convince them to actually show up and give me bid? I can't seem to find anyone who will do one or two small bathrooms for a residential remodel.

Hi Jeff and welcome to the forum. I'm not aware of anyone 'round here that resides in your neck of the woods but , then again, I don't know everyone.

Lots of folks out there that think tile settin' is just a bucket of mastic, a pair of nippers, and some grout to blend it all together. Hang tight and let's see who drops in..
