District of Columbia General Contractor

Hello anyone with any advice

I am a 3rd generation stone mason and general contractor in both Florida and California, I am wondering if ANYONE knows about licensing in DC I cant find a thing about it online, wondering if they license GC's or what I need to begin a project there. Also any tips on prep/schools/exam if they have one, I'm happy to talk to anyone about my exp in FL or CA thanks

Julianne, I can't be certain about this but I think all you need is an envelope full of cash slipped into the pocket of a congressman? At least that's how the rest of the city works, doesn't it?

RobZ is amember lives in Va close to DC. He probably knows. You can PM him if he doesn't see this. You going to bid on the Supreme Court building?

RobZ and I were discussing this subject just a couple weeks ago. He's the man to talk to.

I'm quite familiar with the situation in DC, and I can't think of a word that is sufficiently negative to describe it without resorting to profanity. I'll be glad to talk to you if you want to give me a call. Send me a PM and we can trade phone numbers.

Welcome aboard, Julianne. One question: Why would a Sun Belt gal even consider going anywhere near D.C? And in the winter?
