i just put in about 600 ft of porceline floor and sent my helper back to grout and seal it, he sealed it the day after he grouted it with tile labs matte finish stone sealer and now i have to get all this crud off the floor! the home owner is concerned about the odor of what ever we use to get this stuff off. any ideas would be helpful.

Welcome, daprosetta. Please give us a first name to use.

I've moved this to the Cleaning/Sealing forum where maybe the right people will see it and have bumped it to the top of the queue so maybe you'll get some response.

Your helper sealed the porcelain tiles?

Is it a polished tile?

Hi Jared

Since the Matte Sealer is a topical finish, you'll need a tile & stone specific alkaline cleaner to remove it. The use of a scrubbing machine, and a wet vac will assist in the speed and effectiveness of the stripping process.
