Here's how I respond to jobs awarded to other contractors:

"Thanks for the opportunity to bid on your project. Call me if I can be of assistance to you in the future."

At this point anything else sounds like you're trying to sabotage the job for the current installer. If they do need the shower torn out later on, they would be less likely to call you if you had sat on the sidelines saying, "I told you so."

I had to stop in on a job I had to pass on because I was to busy to get to it. I worried the new tile guy might take this contractor from me. After tripping while walking across the marble entry and seeing a few other things I'm sure I've lost him.

You have to love the idiots that post pics of jobs that they don't know how to do. Not only did they start tiling the shower as it was in the previous pic I posted, check out the 2x4 curb with nothing on it, lol.
