Greatest Time of My Life.....
Way back in the 60's and 70's, I was a DJ in New Orleans. Worked with people like John Larouquette and it was great. Played whatever we wanted and did "Sets" about anything we wanted. Good Times. We had and promoted a venue called "A Warehouse" located on Tchopotoulas St. just outside of the French Quarter. We brought in name bands from all over the US. It was an actual warehouse where, if you brought in a 9x12 remnant of carpet for the floor...you got two free tickets for that night. Typically, tickets were from 2 to 5 dollars. Pink Floyd, Janis, Jim Morrison and too many to count.
The video, unfortunately doesn't show us, but we had a raised stage to the right of the performance stage with easy chairs and a couch where the DJ's could "chill out" and enjoy some herb and the show. Best time of my life. Wish we had camera phones back then. No great stage effects...just raw music...

These guys played Pompeii many years ago and returned for this in 2016. "One Of These Days" is a seminal work for them. Guilmore worked the drums as well as the laptop steel. Notable is the bassist with his Rickenbacker bass. Rocked the show...
