Best 3 piece band you've never heard of (unless you're a canuk or aussie)

My favorite band growing up in New Orleans was a three piece local band called Zebra.

Here is a remake video to one of their hits:

They have another great hit called, "Tell me what you want".

The band has a Led Zeppelin sound about them.

I just noticed the first link I posted above takes you to the search page rather than the video. Alot of good zebra on that page though.

The first time I ever heard a 12 string acoustic guitar was at one of their concerts. Randy Jackson played his own version of Gallows Pole; It was AWESOME!!!

I watched them play in a bar in Sudbury Ontario. There were more members in the band than had paid to watch. Drummer and Bass player sat with us between sets. Lead was too cool for us. To their credit, they played a full show. Next year they were the headliners at the local college frosh week show. Hear they are back together again finally. Led Zepplin with Jim Morrison as the front man.

I dunno. I gotta question the finish quality when you let the framing crew do alla trim work. And even the roofing!

But I bet you could stack three or four full sized MILs on that thing and not hurt it much.

Impressive bit of patience displayed, say I.

Big head Todd and the monsters are a great three piece too. The guitarist is no slouch either. Pretty popular in the late 90's

I remember that one, Ernie! That and "Who's Behind the Door" were classics.

Since we're debating three piece bands, while I'm not rabid fan like some folks, I'd say Rush has to be the cream of the crop. I know a lot of Gen X'ers my age would say it's Nirvana, but I'm sorry, they were around what, 5 years or so.? Rush has been at it for 40 years now.

Apologies to the Police as well...
