It was for a good cause anyway....

I lost the thread I was reading now. Anyway, it was asked about the picture in the book and why it showed you putting the bricks on the slab *after* the mudbed was in. It was mentioned that that couldn't be the case.
But looking at the closeups in the online photos it does look like the kerdi drain is in already and you're putting in the curb bricks after the mudbed.
I wanted to link to the picture, but only those with access to the book can see it. One of the persons commenting is a regular here Brian in San Diego, but I don't think he has the book. Would it be alright to reveal the un/pw to him in a PM?

The conversion is moot since can't find the thread now...

It's John's call of course, but in my opinion it wouldn't be proper to share the username and password.

Henry,

Brian in San Diego has the book, but that's not the point. I want you to understand that if people want to read the book or view the pictures they have to buy the book. That's the way copyright works. No two ways about it. If you ask permission, and permission is denied, you leave it alone. Now please abandon this thread. You're making me look like a bad guy.

Making anyone look bad wasn't my intention.

Since Brian has the book there's no issue.

I asked and was told "no". You can delete my last 5 posts to this thread and forget I asked.

Protocol question

John-

I bought your ebook and Tile Your World. Great investment and thanks for making these affordable. I have no idea how much I will end up saving and what a multiplier they will be.

But I have a question about using Kerdi corners for my shower based on the ebook. What is the appropriate posting location?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks, Ray.

Beer won't stain anything if you don't spill it. Slurp down every drop, and you're home free.

Hi Ty,

You're actually better off posting this in your bathroom thread.

Are you referring to the Better Bench ? No need to Kerdi it, just shoot some silicone in the penetrations like you thought.

Hi Ty, Ray,

Please do post in your thread. You can do the Better Bench either way.

I'm new to this -- is it OK if I jump in with some questions? The questions are, if I buy the kerdi shower system and not use the pan and curb but pour one instead then I can I set the membran onto this? Alternately do you know some one in north Nashville with experience who woud be interested in doing the install for us? Thanks, Janine
