Tile art, the other kind

A neighbor of mine is an accomplished artist who uses the leftover glass tile and grout from my jobs to add to her pieces. Tonight is a showing of some of her work. To see more go to silkwoodmosaics.com

We got a few flakes here, but nothing like that.

Temp is down, though, and supposed to drop 15 degrees throughout the day. I don't mind that as much as I do the wind out of the north gusting up to 15 mph.

Decided to upgrade the RV bathroom counter and sink. The granite was left over from a bathroom remodel.

Hey Paul, aren't you going to reduce your mpg with that addition?

If you can afford an RV, you're not too worried about gas mileage. Much like owning a boat or any other money pit fun hobby

I did check, it only added 8 pounds to the rig

Yeah, I know. Just a stupid joke about the weight of granite. It makes a cool addition to your rig. I'd believe 8 pounds. A gallon of water in the tank.

What kind of rig do you have? I'm sure you've posted pictures but I'm too lazy to search right now.

My in-laws live out of a motorhome now. Traded in a really nice fifth wheel and Chevy Duramax to get a gas motorhome with a Tahoe behind it. MIL has restless leg and needs to be able to roam around while they're on the road. FIL's always been a diesel guy but went to gas because of diesel repair costs, and right now he's coming out o.k. due to the price of diesel fuel, too.

If anybody's helper can do this with a pencil they should be fired immediately. They've obviously been wasting too much time.
