Well, Mother Nature did her thing and brought us SNOW on April 24. The (hopefully) last winter blast isn't quite over with and I'm hoping we continue to NOT get the estimated snowfall prediction.

While I'm not happy seeing my poor Daffodils freeze and wither before thier time, this late blanket of snow made an interesting backdrop for a couple pictures. (I'd have spent more time out there but froze my tootsies off ). Anyway, I came up with this keeper which I think looks kinda neat.

[looks like I lost some definition in the compression ]

Marni, absolutely beautiful.

I saw on the weather that you got dumped on. We may get close to freezing tonight.

Thanks Clyde! Looks like we scooted by without any big accumulation. That's one of the nice things about being close to downtown... the couple extra degrees warmth keeps some of the snow away. All we got was about 1" of Slurpie consistancy accumulation on the grass, decks, roofs but hardly any on the cement. Guess we lucked out! Daffodils weren't so lucky, but maybe the 50+ weather today will help.

Here are a couple of pictures of spring wild flowers in South Carolina. We visited a waterfall about 45 minutes from home and I spotted these along the trail.

this spring. I have a hard time getting everything in focus so heres the
best i can get out of my camera without a stand and lenses. This flower
is bigger then my hand , fingers extended.

Graduation

My youngest graduated from high school Friday night (with Honors), and I thought I would show a few pics from after the ceremony and dinner.

She is gorgeous, Raymond. Of course you know that.

My twin boys will graduate this month. Don't know how honorable it'll be, but they made it.

Thank you John, we are very, very proud. She will be attending college this fall on a softball/academic scholarship. She just has to weigh all the offers and decide where she wants to go.

Jack, not twins, 19 months apart, but even they get confused when looking at their own pictures.
