heres the link Check out the schluter coved metals made just for this.These metals take some of the skill necessary out of that equation and mucho cheaper.

Thanks. The designer has planned tile coves. The Schluter profiles appear to be designed as transitions to allow movement which is consistent with what I have read here; my question refers to whether or not a tile cove, which is presumably not going to allow movement is a good idea or a bad idea??

The joint at which a wall and floor meet should technically be caulked whether its coved tile or not-to provide movement.
