Nobody'd mess with me on the freeway if I had one of those. I guess I only thought I wanted a Hummer.

Another couple of weeks of this cold weather, you can drive that across Lake Huron. I don't think we're going to escape the big lakes freezing over this year.

This is actually shaping up to be a decent year for tourism. It's really hard to say what our total accumulation is- the near-continual lake winds re-arrange it (into a big drift at the beginning of the drive) daily. Prolly about a foot and a half, more just inland of us.

The UP has gotten dumped on, but in some strange patterns. You can drive along US 2 and see some areas with no more than a dusting, and some that are still digging out.

Sold the sled this year.

The foregoing was presented in another area of the Mudbox by JEB. Thought it was well worth entering here, but (I'm a bad, baaad moderator,) I didn't know how to get it here except cut and copy. Anyway, a good mixed crowd joke, thanks JEB

amusing

ZIPLOC BAGS - Male because they hold everything in, but you can always see right through them.

SWISS ARMY KNIFE - Male because even though it appears useful for a wide
variety of work, it spends most of its time just opening bottles.

KIDNEYS - Female because they always go to the bathroom in pairs.

SHOE - Male because it is usually unpolished, with its tongue hanging out.

COPIER - Female because once turned off, it takes a while to warm up.

TIRE - Male because it goes bald and often is over inflated.

HOT AIR BALLOON - Male because to get it to go anywhere you have to light a
fire under it.And, of course, there's the hot air part.

SPONGE! - Female because they are soft and squeezable and retain water.

WEB PAGE - Female because it is always getting hit on.

SUBWAY - Male because it uses the same old lines to pick people up.

HOURGLASS - Female because over time, the weight shifts to the bottom.

HAMMER - Male because it hasn't evolved much over the last 5,000 years, but it's handy to have around.

REMOTE CONTROL - Female... Ha! You thought I'd say male. But consider,
it gives men pleasure, he'd be lost without it, and while he doesn't always know the right buttons to push, he keeps trying.

Oh, by the way.........

How is a thong like a barbed wire fence?

They both protect the subject without blocking the view.

BILL'S GOLD URINAL

Before the inauguration, George Bush was invited to a get acquainted tour of the White House. After drinking several glasses of iced tea, he asked Bill Clinton if he could use his personal bathroom.

He was astonished to see that the President had a gold urinal.

That afternoon, George told his wife, Laura, about the urinal. "Just think," he said, "When I am President, I'll get to have a gold urinal!"

Later, when Laura had lunch with Hillary at her tour of the White House, she told Hillary how impressed George had been with his discovery of the fact that in the President's private bathroom, the President had a gold urinal..

That evening, Bill and Hillary were getting ready for bed. Hillary turned to Bill and said, "Well, I found out who pissed in your saxophone."
