Hello

The white powdery substance is not too bad...seems like it may be the edges of the tumbled tile...but I think I am going to try the klenzall and stone enhancer...the klenzall looooks pretty easy to use..correct me if I am wrong...and the stone enhancer...will that darken my grout as well as the tile?

Hey everyone

I have an additional question regarding my tumbled travertine. At the base of my counter where I caulked...there was ...what looked like mold...black stuff on 2 tiles...I wiped it with a damp rag and it came off..but am sure it will come back....what can I use to clean this?..I should note that somee of my tile had some black residue on it...i wiped it off and continued with the tile. Am I in trouble or is there a product I can use to eliminate this "black" stuff?

Thanks
Barbara

Hi Barbara

What caulk did you use?

Generally, I try to use RTV silicone whenever possible.

I would monitor your current caulk. If it darkens again, you could do a light cleaning with water and bleach (2:1).
