Flash also seems to be going the way of the Dodo. The iPhone and iPad are primary browsing devices for a lot of people and Flash does not work natively on the iOS platform meaning, everything in Flash won't be seen by many people.

I know John , I deserve it .

I never did take care of my site . Now with all the templates out there I will give it a try and I just wanted to familiarize myself with different compositions .You know , the perfection kinda follow me from the construction site . Changes and decisions are unclear and the google+ gives me the opportunity to play and try a different approach.

The www.eurocerob.com was done few years ago and the programmer was kinda limited , but i never update it .

Dave , at the time I was very enthusiastic with the graphic designer idea and I kinda tell the programmer to do it , regardless of the search engines . The idea behind it , well it appears like setting tiles ....... but I totally agree with you -- lose the Adobe Flash. Thanks

Do you think I can link a domain to the google+ site or even change the google URL with the domain name ?

Also , if is not to much to ask , how or are the webbots indexing the google+ pages ?

That I don't know. Maybe some research will locate something to shed some light on the question.

Thanks Dave.

On another note , I've seen on some sites '' index_en'' attached to the URL , similar to this ---- ww.example.com/index_en.html ---- Do you think is helping ?

I removed one of the 3w on purpose not to get linked .

Typically you'll find "index_en.html" and variants of that for different languages on multilingual sites. Same page, just translated for visitors from different countries. Unless you're planning on taking your business international, it isn't gonna help you at all.

JonD,
I just read this thread and can't believe what you went through with your webguy. I hope that things keep getting better though. I just had my site redone and it's been great from day one of the launch. We're still adding some info, pictures, articles etc... over the course of the next few weeks but it was a completely great experience, up front no BS and killer site. I'll give you a call next week.

Hi Todd,

Yes, everyone got to read my dirty laundry but here again if someone learned something out of it at my expense I am all for it. Would I do differently if I knew then what I know now.... certainly. What I learned about a website is there is much more to it than looking pretty. Live and learn, the hard school of knocks where most get our edumacation.

What changes did you make to your site, I did look at is couple months ago... was it optimized?

Just looked again, much nicer and more dazzle. Is that one pic of the commercial job you did with Evan, the inset in the floor. Very nicely done!

Jon,
My old site went bye bye! I had it completely redone with lots of SEO goodies. I've previously had a sufficient enough history on the web that I'm ranking pretty high in most if not all search categories at this point.
Check out the overhaul www.aloneeagle.com
With the initial launch of my site, I can delay paying for monthly SEO services because the initial boost has been great. The new site includes FaceBook, twitter, a you tube channel, G+ and other links such as BBB and Angie's List. What those components do is let Google know that your accepted socially by the community (by having fans, good reviews and so on)
