yellow stains

im sure this has been addressed. but i had carrara hexagons installed in two different bathrooms. one just a reg floor and one the reg floor and shower floor.

in both bathrooms the carrara is turning yellow? is it the installation? the cement used? the grout? tks much....

Which cement and grout were used? On what substrate? What sealer? What cleaners?

There could be a number of reasons for this - any way you can post pictures? Does the yellowing occur everywhere equally or more in some spots than others?

Did you ever use bleach or any acidic cleaners on the stone?

PS: A name in your permanent signature line (UserCP in the blue line above) would be great. Otherwise cx will come after you, and you don't want that

Have you sealed the floor? What kinds of personal care products are you using?

Sealed with what? Product names are very important. We can keep playing "20 questions," but without a little more information on your part, we're all wasting our time.

well bob as i said 8 hours ago i dont have the names of all the products. i didnt tile it.

the tiler has been tiling for 40 years. its artistic tile so decent quality. im giving tiler the benefit of doubt that he knows how to seal marble tile.

so far your all questions and no helpful thoughts or opinions.

how about a broad opinion of why marble tile would turn yellow?

Could be water bleeding in through the tiles edges..then staining or blooming the tiles....was the grout sealed....?

Hard to say without pics..
