Restoring marble on foyer floor

We are remodeling a 40+ year old house that has white/grey marble in the foyer - approximately area 8' x 12'. The marble is about 1 inch thick and has a "matte" finish - it does not have a sheen or gloss. How do we clean this marble? Then, what is best to use to seal it? We do not want it highly polished but rather keep the matte look. Any other suggestions on it's care would be appreciated.

Hi Anita, Welcome!

Stone Tech has a fine line of products available. You could start with their KlenzAll for the deep cleaning. Follow up by having your floor professionally honed with one of their honing powders (to bring it to the desired sheen - either a 400 or 800 grit). Consider whether you want to use an enhancer or not (would tell us what sealer to suggest).
