chip in marble top

hey all

what is the easiest way to repair a small chip in a marble counter top?
top is white carrera marble top .. white with some greyish swirls in it

I dropped my drill on it and it made a chip about the size of a sunflower seed. and a small scratch next to it... about a 1/2 inch long.

I heard about people using crazy glue and baking soda??

can't seem to find any kits at the store either

Can you post a photo of the damage?

It's not uncommon for the White Carrara to "stun" with an impact such as your stone experienced. That being the case, hiding your blemish is a little more difficult. A typical repair will only yield filling a shiny blemish.

More than likely, you'll need a little colorant(s) added to the repair, as well deciding if it is best to disguise the repair by blending it to the color of a vein vs. trying to get a matching color of the field of the stone (the white part).

I like your reasoning!

I take a lot of photos. I used to always use my DSLR, switched to a point & shoot for convenience, and now it's either my phone or my tablet. No doubt that the DSLR is the way to go for serious photography though.
