methods for outside corners

Hello gents, i was just sitting here thinking about outside corners. Occasionally i have customers that purchase tile that doesn't have through color and they don't like the look of the metal edges. Without bull nose tile what are other methods of doing the outside corners. Depending on the situation and where the corner is i'll do the overlap or the miter but are there other ways?
