Marble floor in bathroom dull and spots eveywhere

We put marble tile in second bathroom where we keep our cat boxes. Sometimes the kittys were naughty and went on floor. So to be sterile I would use a bleach cleaner to clean the floor wasnt aware how delicate marble can be. I didnt research anthing about marble before we did which is my bad. Bathroom is very small maybe 18 tiles total I was wondering if there is anything I can do to correct this myself wanted some advice.

George,

Welcome to the forum.

You have a few choices;

1- Live with the dull spots

2- make the whole floor dull

3- replace the floor with a beautiful, look-a-like ceramic

4- a nice area rug

5- dim lighting

6- move

Choose wisely grasshoppah. Then let us know what the missus decided.

The tile did not have spots when I layed it down . Was wondering if that is etching that was caused by the bleach if a simple etching paste would get rid of that ot if im giong to have to wet sand it down.

Hi George,

It's most likely the urine that has caused your etching.

But before you do anything, I'd like to politely warn you that experimenting on your floor could cause a bigger mess than you'd like. Before you do anything more, I'd encourage you to hang tight for a bit until a stone restoration pro chimes in with some specific advice.
