Best backsplash grout is ... ???

Backsplashes get splashes and spills and I don't really want to seal it every 6 months or whatever so I'm thinking epoxy based and small (1/16) grout joints

Bostic Neverseal and Mapei Kerapoxy CQ ($$$) and Flexcolor CQ

Is there a winner? Which stands up best to the inevitable spills?

Thank you,
dan

Another possibility would be SpectraLock. One of the one-part acrylic grouts could work, too. Keep in mind that to get a 1/16" grout line, your tiles will need to be extremely precise. Industry standards call for the grout line to be at least 3x the difference between the smallest and largest tile. The smaller the grout line, the more any setting errors will show up.

Best is sort of a personal choice. For example, should you want a particular color, or effect, such as glow in the dark, or glitter, or some such, your choices are more restricted.

They're rectified and very straight (I lined them up to check) so the grout line should be fine, but thank you.

Flexcolor CQ has the color we want but I think I want to go epoxy based. I'll look at SpectraLock.

Thank you,
Dan

Mods, should this thread be in "Cleaning, Restoration and Sealing"?
