I want to fix a slippery set of stair treads, but all of the ones I see on Amazon have a adhesive sticky part. So after spending too much time trying to take glue off my windows (I had fly paper stuck there last year), I realized this adhesive stuff isn't friendly when it comes to removing it.
So I am wondering what people suggest to ensure stairs are not slippery, but won't destroy the stairs in the event I take them off?
NOTE : these are replacement oak veneer treads that I placed over my older treads.
