That'a all you need - and some water to cool the bit. I bought a set of diamond coated hole saw bits off e-bay to cut holes in my tiles ranging from 1 inch to 6 inches. They worked great. I just used my right angle drill to chuck the bits and no problem. A 6 inch bit was around $30. I think the set (1/4 to 1-1/2 inches was only $30).

I'm a DIY'er and a rank amateur at tiling, but I successfully cut some holes in porcelain tile using a diamond hole saw I bought on eBay. I got the recommendation for the tool and technique on this forum. The technique involved drilling the same sized hole in a piece of scrap 1x4 and clamping it to the tile you are drilling. Then, fill the hole in the 1x4 with water and drill slowly. Worked great and took just a few minutes.

(Mike beat me to it. What he said.)

And some extra tile? Holes that fall close to the edge of porcelian tile can be tricky, thay seem to "pop" right at the end. SLOW speed, apply water and LIGHT pressure. Practice on a scrap piece first. It can be done,Good luck.
