1(d). Shower Benches

Our new friend Rod started a thread in the Hangout about shower benches so we thought we'd bring the pertinent photo posts from that thread, without all the extraneous comments, in here as a reference for our visitors looking for design ideas.

I have seen alot of nice and creative shower benches on this forum. It's easy to create curves and cantilevers with new products like Kerdi-board. Here are some I have been doing.

Nice pics guys.

Love the hydronic heat in your bench. I built one like that years ago.

Here's a nice L-shaped bench I finished recently, along with a corner seat in the same shower.

Here's one we just did, and a couple others. Great variations here, I like it.

Here's a crazy one. It had stainless steel pipes running thru it. I set forms and poured the concrete and then installed stone over it.
