Yeah, what a difference in depth of polish when you go up that high in grits. Some jump into 400 then powders and get a pop but no depth.

Just a simple marble top restore. Belonged to lady's grandma and was pretty beat up and dingy, with yellow wax and all kinds of very old griminess.
Looks much better now.
Apologies for the cell phone pics.

Hi Adriana
As usual, nice job!
How do you like restoration vs. fabrication?
It's nice when you can get a before and after in the same photo.

Hi John How are you?
Restoration is so much fun. This one particular, because the difference was so huge. The little top was pretty beat-up. Client was amazed at how well it cleaned up and almost cried. She thought it was ruined for sure.

Hi Adrianna
Just wrapping up with a cold. I'll be glad when this job is finished!
You truly have a passion for stone. It shows in your fabrication, restoration, and helping others.
Hopefully, the restoration aspect will spark a new interest to your business that can supplement the fabrication if needed. It's also not quite so hard on the back!

Hi Dave
Excellent job!
Did you run into any worn tiles, or was it just the coating that was in bad shape?
MEK is some good stuff. Now I understand where your posting skills came from!
