Work in progress...

I want to add mosaic tile to the right wall (behind toilet and to function as vanity backsplash), up to around 4ft height. Trying to figure out how to trim the top edge of the mosaics before setting them.. These mosaics are only about 1/8" thick.. Any ideas?

Meanwhile, I'm working on grout and finishing drywall.

Welcome, Phil, looks pretty nice from here. I like the shower wall tile.

For finishing the top of the mosaic, have you considered one of the tile trims? Schluter makes a bunch.

Hey Dan,
I had to lookup on schluter's website to check, but they do have 1/8" height schiene profiles (L-shaped) listed. At the local stores, I've only ever seen the 1/4" height trims at the smallest. I do cringe at the thought of UPS shipping a couple 8 ft lengths of flimsy trim; maybe ill see if the local stores will order it for me.
Thanks!

So I used some Mapei Mapesil T Plus 100% silicone at the bottom corners of my shower and along my glass door, but after a couple days it doesn't seem to be hardening/solidifying? The material seems to have a 'silly putty' consistency? Is this normal? When I've used clear/white silicone they seem to harden almost completely within a day..

I called mapei and they said to squeeze some out on board for a few days. After 20 hours, I scraped up some of the squeeze out and balled it up and mashed it; here's a photo of what the material looks like at this point (in my 72F house). I'll test again tomorrow.

Should I scrape this stuff out and try to source some regular Mapesil T (no plus)? I've used the 'siliconized' acrylic from 'Custom' brand in my other shower remodel, but that stuff has degraded after 3 years and needs replacement. The silicone color match products seem hard to find in local stores.

After installing a sliding shower door, my heated towel rack looked like it would be too close to the door, so I ended up cutting a hole in the drywall to relocate this box 3 inches (further) away from the shower door. Now there is just barely 22" clearance between the open sliding door and the towel rack, hopefully that's enough?

Here's the photo of the Mapesil T Plus after 2 days. It looks like the 'warm grey' color is curing faster than the 'pearl grey'. The pearl grey seems like its taking too long to cure? I don't want to tear it out if I don't have to, so I'll give it another week while I work on the vanity tile backsplash.
