I've gotten away from pan liners, but I've put in plenty in the past. For the most part we would use NP1 sealant (or an equivalent) to adhere the liner to the curb on all three surfaces. The lath would be held in place with weight of the mudbed once it goes in. Sometimes we attach to the front of the curb and then seal over the nail/screw heads, if the linear just didn't want to stay down.

Chris,
Goto the Liberry and find the shower construction thread it shows how to build a mud curb without puncturing the liner.
Brad,
Where did you learn to do pans? I have a job coming up thinking of just doing the CPE liner myself because my local tile shop carries it.

I forgot my glasses that day so the grout joints didn't line up
I thought Apple Valley was the Edina (cake eaters) of the SW metro? Only the local guys will get that one.

Brad you don't need to run the liner up any further than 3 inches above the curb. But Hey in JB's book he says he only runs them six inches up the walls.

6" up the wall should get you 3" above the curb. Right or close? It will in my showers. But I dont use pan liners so how would I know........... Hammy
