I really like the pedestal sink sitting on top of a brick. I think I'd have trouble eating there...I'd always wonder what the kitchen looked like.

Wow. I would have been on my cell phone to the health department and building departments the second I stepped through the door.

And people say its hard to achieve that old world look. Hell, that water heater is minutes away from being a Mt Vesuvious reenactment. Please tell me there was a "employees must wash hands before returning to work" sign somewhere in that room. On the subject of restuarants, my plumber/rooter buddies tell me the Chinese restuarants are by far the worst they have ever seen.

Thanks Ed. Kind of out of sight out of mind. But, now it is stuck in my mind. Ugh. I have done a lot of repeat work at a local donut shop. They have to keep replacing the plumbing. Seems the sugars want to eat through the plumbing. It has been a while, maybe all the drain lines are new now.

Here's my contribution. They always had standing water in the shower, I wonder why. They did'nt put a mud bed in,they just thinset right to the pan. I'm trying to talk them into a complete redue. I gave them a price , so will see. If not I'll just mud the floor and put there new 2x2's in.
