Any details on what went wrong? I assume a lack of following directions.

Finally finished up this project.

Two coat mud on the walls, 1" mud bed on the floor with lath/paper/easy heat. Laticrete hydroban sheet membrane on the pan, Laticrete Hydroban on the walls.
32" laticrete linear drain.

his/hers shower left and right, with a soaker tub below the window. I'm not crazy about the pan being flat under the tub (but it had to be) in case of overspray from the showers. But the whole room is waterproofed with Hydroban sheet membrane, so it won't hurt anything even if it does.

I don't know how I would have done this job without learning mud work. (still have lots to learn admittedly) and I will thank the JBF forum and the "mud work hints and methods" thread for that.

More pictures of the build here if anyone interested :

Awesome job john.

I have always been concerned with large tiles on floors for safety purposes. Do customers not care or have the staff to make sure things are safe all the time?

How does that work and what's your liability? One glob of misdirected shampoo could end up bad.

At that level is it just asthetics for them?
