Paul, great execution on the arch, I can't wait for the finished pictures!
Here's a short video from a job we did about 1-1/2 months ago. I hope these videos aren't too obnoxious for everyone. I don't take many pictures anymore.
I am always a bit humbled by the quality of work posted here. I'm truly honored to know most of the folks who do that work.
When viewing the backsplashes I wonder if you find the electrical boxes set all at the same level when you arrive on the job, or do you have to fuss with them a bit?

When I can, such as this job, we layout the box locations for the electrician. This job we got very lucky, all stars were in alignment. We also had access to tile samples, and counter top early on in the framing stage, which really helped with layout.
Now, I try to talk the customer/designer to use the angled outlet strips that get mounted at the top of the splash, to keep the tile cleaner with out all the outlets interuppting the nice tile work.

Reason: Added more info
Just a few pictures from a big residential job we started back in January. Finished basement that was a victim of our multi-billion dollar flood disaster last summer. This family spent hundreds of thousands to re-finish the basement ($110,000 for the audio/video system alone). Decided to finish with tile and stainless steel cabinets in case the river floods again.
Paul got the arch finished today....and it's awesome. The HO is dancing around and ecstatic about the result. Even the guy doing the sanding came up and took pictures and raved about the work! I imagine he'll post some pics later tonight. Gotta give "kudos" to Gary, his helper. He's doing a great job with the cuts.
First time I've dealt with the Dewalt.....great saw.
Me, just doin' some basic tiling on the third floor BR.

They didn't want it good, they wanted it Wednesday.
The tiny imperfections in the grout joints will be ground down tomorrow after the tiles have set.
How it looked at 330 pm; and yes the ceiling is higher on the left side by 3/4"
FWIW tiling this arch took 2 full days with a helper. I was drawing the next tile while he was off cutting the prior tile. Back and forth on each side of the arch, one tile per side each time.
