Hi- I am new to this forum, but have been reading it for a few months.
I have spent the last few weeks slowly going through the process of putting in a new shower in my basement bathroom. I have a pre-slope base, Oatey 40m liner and ½” Durock almost an 1" off the floor.
Last weekend, I put the mud bed over the liner and finished my mud curb over the liner and lath. My weekend warrior skills really show in the curb (and probably elsewhere

) and need to know how to fix it.
See attached picture.
I am not sure if my mud was not wet enough or what, but had a difficult time keeping the mud on the lath as I tried to create a 'square' curb. I finally got the mud to stay and slowly scooped away to try and make it close to square.
How can I make the curb ‘more’ square to accommodate my tile and shower door? Should I chisel away and start over, or can I add to the existing curb? Will thin set and tile take care of it?
Sorry for the remedial questions, but this was by far the most difficult part of the project for me.

Thanks in advance for any advice.
