Custom Building Products 2015 Event

We are happy to announce another event for 2015!

Custom Building Products will be hosting members of the John Bridge Forum September 20-22. The training session will introduce you to CBP's product line, with heavy hands-on time. There have been some changes since their last session and those of you that have attended previously are invited to return.

The details....

Arrive September 20 by 4PM to attend welcome dinner. Either Los Angeles (LAX) or Long Beach (LGB).

Depart evening of the 22nd or morning of the 23rd.

Meals, hotel nights, training facility transportation and airport transfers to/from hotel are included.

If you would like to attend, please PM me with your name, email address, cell number, mailing address and business name.

The folks at Custom Building Products are wonderful hosts and the training will be invaluable!

Custom Building Products 2015 Event

Brian, they are top notch in taking care of our peeps. They wanted to add an excursion to our last session. A poll of attendees led to changing that to something else. And no one could complain of hunger!

All good.

We at Custom are excited to be able to offer this event. As many of you know we offer training for the installation of ceramic tile throughout the year at our training facility in Santa Fe Springs, CA. We are pleased to offer this exclusive event to the participants of the John Bridge Forum.

We have a full agenda of the latest trends in tile and how installation may differ from traditional ceramic tile. Every year there are new materials added to our industry and we will try to cover as much as possible in the two days.

If there is a topic or method you would like us to cover, please let me know and I will make sure it is on the agenda.

You could sign up for the whole course, Eric. Maybe learn something about the industry, eh?

Talking

I was real interested up until the point where I realized I might have to get my hands dirty. Fish and guts are one thing but dirt in a bag. ..?

Not to mention that very messy, easy to use, red stuff that replaces NobleSeal.

Maybe better you should go fishing. Better still, maybe you should invite me to go fishing, too.

The last one was pretty dang good. Top notch company and hospitality. Hard to believe some ratty surfer founded Custom. I'd like to do it again but wouldn't want to get greedy. Sure do hope some fresh blood takes advantage.

As an aside I've become a fan of Fusion. Especially for backsplashes. Still a longtime fan of Versabond.

Yes I will echo what is being said here about CBP and their hospitality and teachings. I also had a great time out there and got some hands on the product which is critical. Steve Taylor and his crew run a tight ship, you'll know more about that if you attend! The ship won't be leaving dock though

I will say this was one of the more significant trips for me because I got to meet many of our west coast guys. Jack, Chad, Shaun, Obie, Ryan.... Surfer Dan too! Isaac Homza from further west.

What is my latest product ........ Custom Float.... floated first mud shower solo with it. So thank you Custom! To those who attend, well worth it and some fancy smancy dinners. Not my cup of tea but most seem to thrive in that environment. My variety is choice of porcelains, eating is more simple

I will not be attending having already been. Yes Dan lets see some new blood, seems the same members attend over and over, same excuses too. I am busy but I find time to do these excursions. I get a lot of compliments for going outside my circle to learn from manufacturers like Custom Building Products.

That was actually a default last time, Jon, which is how's come I axed. Didn't mean to spoil no surprises.

And I spent too many years inna Coast Guard flying over various oceans looking for boats in distress to be very comfortable sleeping on one. Even after I made real sure it was firmly bedded in cee-ment.
