Glass Doors -Pivot hinges

In the planning process of looking at glass shower doors I will need a set up of glass-door-glass. The pivot hinges look the cleanest. But would require drilling into the curb. I understand that this is not the most desirable but will silicon in the hole do the job? Or should I consider the bigger hinges that are glass-to-glass? Thanks, Tom

Hi Tom, I would use the hinges that mount to the jamb. I would not let them drill through the curb and liner, silicone won't help.
