schluter seminar
OK,anybody going to the schluter seminar at TCA in March?Anybody been there?How was it?I will be there,just wondering what to expect.

I have been planning on going back in the next couple of months. One of the sessions I wanted to hit was a Schluter seminar.
I was back there last year for the mortar bed class and learned more in that week than I could have ever imagined. It was without a doubt the best money I've ever spent to improve my understanding of this trade.

Next time you are down there take a hidden camera and make some bootleg CTEF tapes and sell them on here. It just might make you zillions. S**t! I thought this was a private message 
I actually want to get down there and learn some good ol' muddin tech myself. I have to find a week in my schedule to make it. Did you take the floor and wall or just the floor?

Your in for a treat, the boys from schluter will take good care of you. There will be appx. 20 other experienced installers from around the country to share knowledge with.
There will be a little Ditra, a lot of Kerdi and some Bekotek.
And uh, oh yeah, there is a Hooters.

I did find the hooters. One of the guys there with me was from France, and his accent ..well you had to be there. I did take the floor and wall, and I even brought a video camera and dave let me tape away. Funny thing though I checked the tape in my luggage and it got "lost" never to be heard from again. I was real peeved, it had about two hours of just Dave G. interviews and commentary, it was golden... I suspect a conspirecy.
