This is what Ive been up to lately. The larger ones are about 170#'s and the smaller ones are about 80#'s or so.. Most are set on mechanical hangers, You can see the mud set ones.. Very cold on this job.

Never had an opportunity to work with anything that big - curious as to how you handled it.

We had a client select 2 foot by 4 foot marble for a wall this summer. She chickened out when she saw the price or delay in getting them, so they decided on smaller tiles....easier for us.

Yes its a mosoleum.

That lift is only "slightly" modified.. I use the wall as the railing.

I think the small ones are around 3'x2' and the larger ones 6'x2' give or take a few inches.

The mechanical hangers are 2 studs fastened into the concrete and then a copper "L" hanger bolted to the studs. The stone rests on the hangers and you screw in a rosette to hold them in place.Its a pain in the ass, cuz you have to make sure each hanger is plumb and level. Then you mud set the black stone boarder around it.
The mud set ones are just mud and 2 thick copper wires mudded into the walls

Mc. this is my first go at these things. Was a bit of a learning curve to get the hangers plumb and square.

Dave. I cant say for sure the exact weight of these ones, just going off of what the main guy said. These are also 3cm. When picking them up, they sure feel heavy.
