Enrich N Seal with Microban?

Apparently Aqua Mix no longer makes Enrich N Seal with Microban. Suppliers still show the picture of the 1 pint bottle that says "Microban" but the current bottles that I received when ordering do not say Microban.

I'm planning on using the Enrich n Seal to seal the grout joints on the walls of a shower. Wall Mart sells Microban 24 All Purpose in a pump spray bottle which does not include citric acid. The ph of this product is 9 (basic).

(The Microban 24 Bathroom with citric acid is acidic.)

So, I was going to treat the grout joints with the Microban 24 All Purpose, let it dry throughly, then seal the grout joints with Enrich N Seal.

The wall tile is a porcelain tile with a polished finish. I did a test on a scrap piece and was able to remove the Enrich N Seal even after 5 hours (24 hours if I used rubbing alcohol).

Does anyone see any problem with this?

Thanks, Bill NC

Hi Bill,

Looks like the product is used for natural stone. I don't see a mention of porcelain tile, which by the way won't accept a lot of sealer. Here's the page:

Thank you. I would only be sealing the grout joints. I did a test on being able to wipe it off the tile, and it came off readily even after several hours.

Hi Bill. Are you using Enrich n Seal just to darken the grout joints?

To seal and darken the grout joints. I've used it on the grout on floors before and really like how it performs in both darkening, and sealing the grout.
