Very nice!

I don't wanna take close ups of my miters, I need a new blade! Chips...
Quick shot on the edges with variable speed grinder and a 400grit pad takes care of that pretty good though.

Excellent stuff everybody! Art wraping that liner into to shelf look awesome, I'm sure it was very tedious. Not bad for a lib.

Thought I would stop by and add to this thread.

Shelf - made by laminating two adjacent pieces of 1/2" travertine tile so that the pattern would flow through

Yeah, we're pretty artsy. And who the hell is Art?

Great thread! You guys have some very cool ideas I'm going to steal. Never thought about sandwiching another tile in between to thicken the shelves.

Lots of killer shelves out there.Thank u guys for posting.I think a killer shelf can really set a shower off.

Here is one I installed a few months ago (builder is a glass guy, imagine that). Not really my taste, but hey, beauty is in the eye of the check holder!

Here's one that I did where I thought it would be fun to put a grout joint in the shelf to match the lines in the niche. So I ground in 2 channels for steel rods and epoxy/Kerdi-fixed everything together.

The bottom is a glass shelf like LT's. It's the best photo I have of it.
