 @ Jondon, lol.
So I guess it's ok to interrupt the Plank-a-palooza?
Chair rail return fillers in my half bath. Except for the cuts to the medicine cabinet which is not here yet, all tile is now installed. Will grout walls tomorrow with Bostick Tru- color. Painting some trim today.

Beautiful cuts Gueuzeman. Hope the client appreciates your attention to detail.
Back to the upcountry house job in Haiku.
Kitchen in progress- My house is only slightly larger.
Tile is a 16" x 32" porcelain on a grid pattern.
I'm glad that we were able to convince carpenter to install the two islands after tile.
Tub Bath before grout.
And sunset as I was leaving work yesterday.

He is adding two islands after tile, don't you have enuf islands already?
Yes I would rather tile first and drill as manny holes in the tile as need be afterwards then to tile around them though either way works.
Looking good What no water in the view on the way out, just a farm tractor

Haven't done but a few brick fireplaces in my time. They all have been flat and easy to tile onto, this was anything but. I used the TLS and without it I can't imagine the struggle. I did have to grind some down and sanded over it initially. The header was not level but I made it level with the tile and then Schlutered it. Job was in Lancaster PA.
Mudding over it was not an option.

Too bad that beautiful painted brick got covered up.
And yes Jon we have farming out here too, just not as many horse and buggies as your neck of the woods.

Of course we know you farm we wouldn't have pineapples if you didn't
I'll admit with all the horse and buggies around here not the safest way to travel but at least we don't have to pay that high cost a fuel

Nice work Dan, I see you have been very busy. I like the color combo and materials used for that shower.
