well, tomorrow i get to try my new,slightly used, but working plainer, again.
not quite as excited as I was last week
but my back is feeling better. I hurt something scrapping paint and have been gimpy for days.

believe me Frank i was looking for them before i started filming, i couldnt find them anywhere. they might have been on the top of my head the whole time

ok so if my video's wasn't a good enough review , here it goes

the Planner with just the bag did well but wasn't 100% dust free, i'd say maybe 85% containment of the dust compared to my 7" cup wheel grinder.

with the vac hose hooked up it was 100% dust free.
my helper Gabe was so amazed.

as for the grinders perfomance it did very well never got hot.

i think every Tile Contractor should buy one of these. not just for yourself but for the HomeOwners sake.

not sure Hammy it comes with the Makita Concrete Planner. it is double row

Well took an extra day before got to use it,but just finished taking paint and sealer off about 100 square feet. Bag works great in open areas but when close to a wall,vacuum is needed.
I'll get some pics up when I get back to the house.

OK, so heres my question, i really like what i saw in the video that Jeff posted and im a huge Makita fan, ive got a lot of Makita grinders with grinding cup wheels on them, so if i just bought the "Pearl Abbrasive Vacu Guard Containment System" which looks like a schroad that goes on your grinder then attaches to your vac, would this basically be the same thing.

not sure steve, i never used one of those. they makita concrete grinder( planner) has it built in

I would say yes,it's about the same.I looked at the attachments and a cup wheel, and decided to buy the new because prices weren't to far off in comparison. If you already have a cup wheel, I could see the attachment as being a good buy.
It seems that I can not get a steady picture with my phone, so I guess I'm not posting any
