Chromotherapy in your Shower Renovation! - Why not?

Here is a look at a new Rain Canopy from Jaclo. It is a 16" x 16" full body wash with Chromotherapy lights.

I have installed some LED pool lights from Italy and we needed to have 120 volt line power, neutral and ground from the switch leg. I can't find the specs on line but if your roughing in for these types of LED light generators make sure the power comes into the switch location and out to the light generator and then out to the fixture. If your unsure I would run line power to the switch box and to be extra safe pull a 14/3 wire to the light generator location. Check with your local electrical inspector to be safe.

Here is a link to Jaclo's web site - http://www.jaclo.com/

Pricing for Chromotherapy Shower lights

Some of the fixtures are worth it to achieve the desired look.

Simpilar drywall features in ceilings can lower costs on fixtures but raise them in framing and drywall prep.

Some of these handheld features are not out of reach for most!

My kids where up early and they all voted on if they need one for their bathroom and surprise surprise they voted "Yes".

I've been lookin at these from Thermasol..
When I called them the girl explained the different lights and what they stimulated.. When she got to the lower body she remarked that she thought there were better ways to stimulate that area.. and immediately said,'"I shouldn't have said that.. I said - that's ok...
The lights are really cool but pricey..

Hey John.. I just looked up the cost of the shower head you posted above and it was $9300 from Quality Bath.. Is that for real?? Couldn't find anyone else with just a fast look.. Man that is pricey.. The one From Thermasol lists at about $2400..

Frank,
I seem to recall that the shower head was around $6,200 (my cost).

Pricing Information

That might just be for the Rain Head. You will need a light generator and switch as well for sure. These might be included.

I'm waiting on my pricing from Cantu (http://www.cantubathrooms.com/) - I hope to hear back today.

Most of these great items are for sale one way or another here in Canada. One of my clients is also an importer so I can ask a favour every now and then.

UPDATE FEB 16, 2010

I have ballpark pricing on this rain head of under $2,000.00.

I think I'll pass and just go to Spencers or Walmart and buy a blacklight. Too rich for my blood......
