matching Schluter edge profile, stainless

Is there a wider profile metal to complement a stainless schluter edge profile, maybe sort of like a saddle without lip underneath?

I'm doing a full bathroom reno, but the owner opted for a different tile contractor.

The plan was for 4' high subway tile on an 8' long wall, topped with Schluter Jolly (sort of square edge). The top course ends just under a 5x5 wall mirror above the sink. Turns out the mirror over the sink wasn't installed level and the tiler did install level. (I had nothing to do with this tile layout plan and making it work, but now I have to deal with the result.) So there is now a long open wedge just over the finished Schluter edge that has to be covered or somehow dealt with. Any ideas, short of tearing out the permanently mounted mirror?

BTW, this was obviously missed as a potential problem. Who's responsible for pointing this out beforehand? I would if I saw it, but when I lost the tile job, and he's not my sub, I never considered that edge much. My bad or theirs?

Thanks much.

(On a side note, this was the first time I saw redguard used, and they painted it over the durock since it was spec'd it that way. Is that a correct way to use it? Just wondering.)

Hiya Mark,
Is this a framed mirror?
If not, you could use some beveled trim. I found the picture here.

I would say that it is the mirror installers fault for not installing it correctly, but that's just me.
As for the Redguard, to my knowledge that is a fine way to use it and put it on.

Blame it squarely on the mirror guys. They should have used a level.

Hehehe, Paul said "squarely".

Only thing with any Schluter edge, you'd have to either take off the first row and reset or grind the edge that goes under the tile off.
