Believe it or not, the tub was replaced years ago along with the subflooring in that area. Look at the bottom of the tub skirt.

Oh believe me Isaac, I catch allot of crap from the salesmans every day I pull up in my shiny, new Ford!
I'm actually at a stand-still in the showroom cuz waiting for the carpenters to get caught up. All thanks to Craig (Charimon) for lending me his Colombo. Man you can cruise with that thing!

Remember the fallen floor from the pics above? Today we installed the plywood and membrane in preparation for tiling the floor. When we replaced the wall mounted vanity trap and sink drain with new shiny chrome, we discovered yet another leak, Apparently the last remodel the plumbers someone used a 1.5" fernco to attach 1.5" pvc to a 1" lead pipe. The connection to the lead wiggled quite a bit and leaked horribly. No wonder the slab was so soaked. The toilet AND sink leaked. We had to cut a hole in the wall behind the fridge to fix the connection. Tile install hopefully starts tomorrow.

yeah I love the look also. so many travertine colors out there to use.
they originally wanted a subway 3x6 cream, but decided on a more colorful diagonal 4x4.
they also had a small desk area that got a splash too.

Great work Brian. There's a lot of switches and outlets and thing-a-doozies in that one small desk area you had to cut around!
