Greg is alluminum mosaic, did not have a clue that metal is considerad tile too. Was a &@/&$ to cut. Had to release the tension on the saw head and score it several time from try to prevent blade from grabbing and send piece in the air towrd my eyes or breaking a finger.nice imstall Brian, how long did it take to lay?

Brian Nice travertine! Mick nice metal. Last metal tile job I did was a backsplash, brushed stainles. What A PITA! Yes the cutting is problematic.

I've never worked with aluminum mosaic, but run into the occasional trim pieces, and they are a b***h to cut.
Stainless steel clad is a bear too.

We did some real Pewter stuff before and it was super hard to cut as well. Ruined the tile blade doing that job.

Chad, i was not worry as much for the blade, as much as my eyes and fingers.
If was not for the cuts, it was pretty simple to lay with no joints.

If I remember right I had to buy a metal file for ours instead of a normal stone.

Looks like cool stuff, Shaun. I'd like to see a better shot of the bench in the shower if you've got a pic.
