Not really my idea, i stole it (or at least the "buscuit" part) from somewhere on this forum. Cannot remember where though..
I like the idea that they could "potentially" be removed if someone changed their mind later. I think.. They could be removed, but maybe would end up damaging the wall tile regardless

I've used that biscuit style shelves for a long time now and have twice removed them later on for people that ended up not wanting 3 like they thought they did. Works great I use the Laticrete 310 Rapid to install them sets up in minutes.

Finished this master shower last week. This week we have been working on a Versailles pattern porcelain floor here in Menifee. Sizing isn't great but over all the floor is pretty sweet.

What did you use for biscuits?
The stainless steel washers work ok, but always looking for something better.
I'm a little worried that being round they could pull out, I think I'm going to cut a little notch in the washers before I install them. But that would make it pretty hard to remove, think its necessary?

Hey John ,
I started out doing the same as you with the stainless washers. But now I just use pennies I always have some in the truck and works just as good.
Also with thinset or the rapid epoxy I don't think the notches are necessary I have never had any strength issues and some ladies use the lower ones to shave too.

Fine job on those planks Brian. You have the planks in Florida locked down.
I see the towel was used for the final wipe down. Been doing that myself lately.
Joe, that's a lot of muddin' you have going on there. you mixing and carrying all that mud yourself?
Here's a tub surround and floor I did last week in North Haven, Ct.
Walls are 6x24 and the walls are 12x24.

Chad that shower really turned out nice, the accents are perfect
Brian, more plankin you have a Phd in plankin
Joe, nice view glad you are busy and muddin away
Michael, the really like the niche on your project
Petr some sweet work looks like you are in the goove. Way you did the one shower floor is really different I admire your creativity. Your idea or the customer. Like your niche radius base pieces too Do you fabricate your own stuff I assume?

The way you framed those windows in with tile, what a difference only you know what it took to do all that. Hope they paid you good
