Finishing metal transition edge - caulk or grout

Hi,

I am using a metal edge to finish a tile-to-carpet transition in a doorway.

(This one.)

The installation instructions say to use grout at the metal-tile joint, but the tile store suggested caulk.

Preferences here...?

Thx,
Mitch

It can move somewhat so I am in the caulk camp.
