Curbless shower pan poured as part of a slab on grade

I am about to build a new house and was thinking of pouring and sloping the shower pan (curbless) as part of the main floor. I would use kerdi drain and membrane to waterproof the shower walls and floor. The entire house will be heated with radiant tubing in the floor. Can anyone find any problems with this design.

Thanks in advance James

If done correctly, nope.

I would waterproof the rest of the curbless floor outside the shower area with Ditra and kerdi band on the seams.

Your concrete guys are going to leave you a recess in the floor for the shower, no? I would not trust them to slope the concrete for your setting surface, nor would I turn over the Kerdi drain to them for embedment.
